The wedding dress is holy to the bride. It is the most crucial element of the celebration. As we already talked about this year’s gown trends, we would now like to give you some tips on WHERE to find the perfect dress.
The Austrian label Elfenkleid is seated in Vienna, with a second store in Munich now, where you can make an appointment to get your custom-made taylored wedding dress. Their style is – as the name says – fairy-like and romantic, but the range of different types is very big!
For the bride that dreams of a wedding in a traditional Austrian costume dress, the Styrian label Mothwurf has to be considered! In their two stores in Graz and Vienna they sell only products of high quality materials and all of their pieces are produced under fair and sustainable conditions in Middle Europe.
The most outstanding Haute Couture wedding gowns can be found at Kaviar Gauche. The two Berlin based designers Alexandra Fischer-Roehler and Johanna Kühl founded their label in 2004 are now internationally succesful, with celebrity clients as Florence Welch and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Since 2009 they also release a yearly Bridal Couture Collection – one dress more beautiful than the other!
In her 2006 opened Atelier in Vienna, Patricia Vincent offers (besides a fashion and an accessories collection) not only one, but two bridal lines: tailor-made bridal fashion and the signature line Gentle Fairies & The Golden Flowers. Every piece the designer creates in her studio is handmade with love. The designs are not following any trends, therefor they are timeless and significant.
