Ho, ho, ho! Wait, no. Christmas is already over and I ate around 2 kilos of sugar during that period of time. I hope you all spent some lovely days with your family, friends and people you generally care about. Christmas is a time to appreciate what we got, celebrate life and also spend some time in silence to focus on what really matters in life. Beside that, I hope you enjoyed all the festivities and had some time to dress up. Since I’m a big fan of casual on normal, non special days, I will show you my current sweater crush today: It’s all about turtlenecks in my closet right now. They’re warm, super cosy and so stylish, especially in my favorite non-color: Black. To give the outfit a little drill, I combine my pullover with a pair of mum jeans and some black sneakers with a platform. They’re easy to wear and walk with and in addition, they make you taller without the need to wear high heels all day long. In general, I’m a big fan of sneakers, even during the winter time. If you’re afraid of freezing your butt off during the colder months, you can stick to funny socks or tights – they’ll warm you and will make the outfit look good, too. In the pictures I’m not wearing any but we shot the whole look inside so I wasn’t feeling cold at all.
Humanic has a big selection of sneakers in all colors and forms, it’s really hard to decide which pair to buy. I found two pairs which are especially beautiful and perfect for the current weather conditions: You can either get the same ones as I’m wearing here or try some with a little less platform here. To round up the look, you can go for a small bag like this one here and you’re good to go anywhere you want. Sometimes, less is more! Next week, I’ll focus on my Master’s thesis again, I got stuck a bit due to the christmas celebration days and didn’t have any time to work on it. My blog also takes some time and besides that, I’m starting to plan the first months of 2017. It’s hard to plan when you don’t really know where to go.. Also, all my agencies want me to come back, but hopefully I’ll figure something out so that in the end everything will work out. Wish me luck, I really need it right now since thing’s have bee quite stressful during the past months. Enjoy the last week before New Year’s Eve!
