Things Tidy People Do Every Day To Keep Their House Clean

The Spring cleaning bug may have taken over in the past few weeks (for us it sure has). It’s a mad fury of making sure everything you house is tidy and clean as soon as the sunlight sneaks in and reveals the conditions you have been living in all winter. It can be exhausting if you have a lot to do. That is why we found it incredibly helpful when we saw what we can do to keep our homes spotless all year round! With very little effort, we can make our homes our sanctuaries the whole year instead of causing stress during our favorite season.

1. Make their bed

This may seem like a pointless step to some, but you will be amazed how drastically it changes the whole mood of your room. Once you make you bed, you have the urge to keep the rest of it tidy as well.

2. Empty the dishwasher in the morning

This is important so your dirty dishes don’t start piling up in the sink. Emptying the dishwasher every morning is the best way to make sure you will have space to load your dishes all through out the day.

3. Do a load of laundry every day

This will drastically cut back on the clutter in your room, and leave a much fresher scent to say the least. There are few things more unsightly than a hamper (or floor) full of clothes. But if you live alone, you might have to wait every few days, but they key is not to let the pile become overwhelming.

4. Don’t procrastinate

We know, you’ve been hearing this all your life but it’s right, if there is something that can be done now, do it now. It makes less to do down the road.

5. Clean as they go

Cleaning as you go is also a good tip that will actually save you a lot of time. Why not start loading the dishwasher while your pasta boils?

6. Never go to bed with a dirty kitchen

Yes, nobody likes to wake up to a mess that is why we suggest cleaning before you go to bed. Not only will it give you a *mini* post dinner workout, it is also the perfect opportunity to run the dishwasher so you can unload everything in the morning.
