What To Put Away For Spring (And What You Need)

Posted by March 24, 2016 - Things We L@VE

Spring has caught us off guard this year. It has gone from cold winter rains to bright sunshine in the blink of an eye. We are more than ready for the transition. For us, there is no better feeling than boxing up all the winter clothes you no longer need… it’s a sight we don’t want to see for another 6 months. There is really something to the relief you get from spring cleaning. We have some tips on what to pack away to maximize your space and what you should be replacing it with instead.

Faux Fur

This is a classic staple of winter – not only that but you will be way too hot… overly sweaty is never a cute look.

- Instead, wear suede, this classic screams Spring.

Blanket Scarfs

These should be used exclusively in winter. They are too bulky for a Spring look.

-Instead, try a silk scarf or bandana. The will protect your neck from any drafts while still looking super chic for spring.

All Weather Shoes

There isn’t any snow anymore you have to protect yourself from, so do yourself a favor and try a lighter pair! Your feet will thank you.

-Instead, try d’Orsay flats, they are airy and fresh… and not to mention totally on trend.

Beanies are not only great at protecting against the cold, but they are the perfect companion for a bad hair day so it is important to find a good Spring alternative so…

-Instead, try a fedora.
