At the end of April I flew to Provence for one week on a press trip organised by the tourism board of France. It was cold, windy and grey in Vienna, therefore you cannot imagine my happiness to jump on the airplane with direction to the South of France together with a friend of mine. We landed down in Marseilles and drove to Aix en Provence. The day we arrived, it was quite late for photos, so I decided to scan the city and find the most photogenic places. And then I found this little square, called Place d’Albertas, where we decided to shoot the next morning the pictures of this blog post. This plaza, because of its beauty and its location, is quite popular and busy during the day, so in order to have it all for myself, I woke up around 06:00 and started shooting at 07:00.
Things we do for photos!
If you follow my adventures for a long time, you might already know that wherever I go, I always try to match my outfit with the surroundings and even before each and every trip I try to figure out which outfit would work best for the travel destination. For Provence, I opted for a blue and white coral print Lena Hoschek dreamy dress inspired by the style of an icon, Sophia Loren. I matched it with a comfortable pair of white slippers from Humanic and I loved how the mix of an elegant dress with a casual pair of shoes resulted in a playful chic outfit. I was feeling gorgeous and happy!
