This Monday I was invited to the press conference for the nomination of ROMY Awards that took place at 10.00am at Grand Hotel in Vienna. The ROMY Awards are something similar to the American Oscars but it is for actors and actresses in the film and television industry in Germany. Some of the nominated films and TV stars were already present at the press conference, such as Philipp Hochmair, Sunnyi Melles, and Julia Cencig among others.
For the press conference, I chose a head-to-toe black ensemble. I teamed a pair of Lace-Up pointed Toe Pumps with black leggings, Longchamp shoulder bag, and black jacket and adorned myself into a chic monochromatic look. I added some glam to the outfit with a statement CHANEL brooch and felt golden. You can’t go wrong with a black on black look after all.
In my daily casual life, I usually wear a pop of color and don’t wear high heels that often because it’s not that comfortable running errands wearing high heels, but for events, dates and drinks in the night, or for other special occasions high heels are charming and essential for a woman. Apart from that, that black pair of shoes from Humanic makes me feel happy not only because they are pretty and punchy but also because when I wear them and look at them, they make me think that spring is just around the corner.
I am looking forward to the glamorous gala which will take place on the 16th April for the 27th time and feel excited to see who is going to get the golden ROMY statue. The 2016 awards ceremony will be broadcasted by ORF 2. The public voting has officially started and if you want to vote for your favorite actor or actress, you can do it until the 18th of March here.
