August in Vienna? No way! Don’t even think about it. August means holidays. Holidays means Italy. Italy means pasta, pizza and gelato somewhere by the sea! Under that state of mind, I booked a last minute ticket to Naples, when I realized that I was the only one left in Vienna while all my friends were sunbathing in a resort somewhere else.
I texted my friends in Napoli that I am coming and they picked me up from the airport. Luckily, they also had some days off and were able to accompany me during my travel. We drove to Sorrento. It was the second time for me at the Amalfi Coast. I can’t get enough of that place. All those Italian little villages: Sorrento, Vietri Sul mare, Ravello, Amalfi, Positano. They all blew my mind away.
Let me give you two travel tips that will be useful if you plan to visit the Amalfi coast. First, it’s better to avoid August because the temperatures are very high and the villages are crowded. You will enjoy your visit more in June, July or September when the villages are not so packed and you might get better hotel offers. Second, you don’t need a car to get around. Fly to Naples and then take the boat to Capri and the Amalfi Coast. Believe me, having a car at the Amalfi coast is a big inconvenience because you will not know where to park it and the parking places will cost you a fortune. These are my two tips. All the rest you can find it by yourself.
Now let’s get to the outfit choices. Most of the times in the summer, I opt for a white dress that I bet you also have in your wardrobe. I choose a white dress and I accompany it with different accessories such as my favorite bags, hats and of course with my Humanic shoes. I couldn’t find a better choice of shoes for my holidays in Positano than those Humanic pointed flats that you see in the pictures. Have a look at the colorful pattern. They match with the colorful houses and the cheerful atmosphere of Positano (but I also love the unicolor model of this shoes)! I can’t say more! If you want to know more, you have to visit Positano!
