Last Saturday I did something that I hadn’t done for a long, long time: picnic at a park with the company of my beautiful friends. Eating outdoors is one of my favorite things to do and one of the most beloved activities during the summer; therefore, a picnic in Vienna is compulsory, as there are so many beautiful parks here. We planned our picnic about two weeks ago and luckily enough last Saturday the weather was kind to us. As the picnic season has officially started, we gathered at Burgarten in Vienna, chose a grassy spot, ordered yummy sushi and fresh drinks from Foodora, stretched out on a blue blanket, laid back and settled in. We spent some quality time together and the sun above us happened to have his hat on.
I was happy that we finally found the time to organize a feast like that, despite the fact that we are all busy now with our lives, chasing our dreams and building careers and we often forget to catch up with each other every now and then. I was also more than happy to have found those denim ballerina flats at the Humanic stores that you see in the photos. When it comes to picnic attire, what would you wear? I paired my ballerina flats with denim trousers and a white T-shirt and had the look that I wanted: casual, simply, comfortable and easy. Plus, they perfectly matched with our picnic blue blanket and they will perfectly match with pretty much every occasion throughout the day: office, meetings, after work cocktails, travels or for a little spring shindig. No matter what the occasion is, your denim ballerina flats will be put to good use.
Picnic anyone? Yes please!
