We are back from Paris! Our heads are filled with amazing memories and our hearts are still beating faster from all the excitement. Today we want to tell you all about our adventures and show you some photos from our trip.
As we told you in our last article, our fashion brand Sabinna had a showroom in a gallery in Marais. We presented our S/S 2015 collection and were pretty excited about this whole experience. In the photo below you can see my happy face in front of the window display that shows one of my designs. For the rest of the day we planned to visit the area that I used to live in, back in 2012 when I was working for Dior in Paris. We went to one of our all time favourite restaurants „Cafe Blanc“ and had an amazing New York steak with potatoes and some Bordeaux. When you are planning to go to Paris any time soon, we really recommend you to check this place out. The staff is super friendly (which is unfortunately not the case in all Parisian restaurants) and the food quality is beyond awesome. Later we stopped by the Dior flagship store to check out the Mise en Dior tribal earrings, that I was dreaming about for ages. They are usually sold out and you have to put your name on a waiting list to get them. And guess what? They had them in stock! Whoop! So now I am a proud owner of these amazing pearl earrings. You can see me wearing them on quite a few photos in this article.
Our second day in Paris started very early. We had some tea/coffee and headed to Grand Palais, as we were invited to ….. the Chanel show!!! Yes, you heard it right! Excitement and happiness were our best friends in this moment and we couldn’t wait to witness the Karl magic in real life. Head over to our blog to read all the details of our Chanel show impressions. But the Chanel story didn’t end here, as in the evening we went to see Coco Chanel’s apartment in rue Cambon. What a dream place! So breathtaking to see all the interior and walls, some of them we knew from photographs of Coco. So many emotions and amazing memories in only one day!
Our third and last day of the trip turned out to be a calmer. We used the time to stroll around the streets of Paris, take pictures in front of the Eiffel tower and eat a lot of Macrons… A LOT.
We left Paris happy, tired and 5 kg heavier and headed home for a good after fashion week rest.
