Coffee Break During Paris Fashion Week

I just came back from Paris last night with a bunch of good memories and one mobile less. This time I went to Paris with my friend Polina. Polina is a journalist from Athens and a big fan of Paris Fashion weeks. One month ago, I called her to check if she would go to this fashion week in March 2017 and she said that she would love to. So we started organizing our trip together. Paris Fashion Week is always glamorous but can also be a lot of hassle. It’s not easy to organize: flights, hotels, meetings and fashion shows. Nevertheless, I was lucky to have Polina by my side. She was a good company and she helped me a lot with the photos.

This trip to Paris had everything: afternoon tea at The Peninsula hotel, fashion shows, many meetings, shoe presentations in fancy hotels, a lot of rain and one stolen mobile phone. At some point, I lost my French mobile and I couldn’t find it. I guess someone else took it but I was lucky to still have my Austrian phone. Despite these two misfortunes, the rain and the stolen mobile, everything else went fine.

The photos of the blog post were taken at the cafe in Rue Saint Dominique. This cafe is truly photogenic and it’s nice to spend some time there watching people passing by. Besides, Rue Saint Dominique is my all time favorite street in Paris. There is an exceptional view of Tour Eiffel from that street and I highly recommend you to find a hotel around this area next time you visit the city of lights.

During the fashion shows, I saw stylish people around me wearing eye-catching clothes. It felt like some of them really exaggerated. It felt like they really needed to dress to impress. I do love fashion and stylish people but I prefer to be modest yet stylish. Do you see that red beret? Polina and I bought it from Monmarte as a Parisian souvenir. I put on red lipstick, my black and white Humanic slippers and one of those busy mornings Polina wanted to photograph me in that Parisian cafe in Rue Saint Dominique. It was such a fun.
