Our dearest September, the Fashion month by excellence, is reaching its end which means that it has finally opened its Parisian doors to the world with its chicest pieces of street style and most superb fashion collections on the planet and they sure got us secretly suggesting some Oh là làs! After New York Fashion Week, Paris is usually the most awaited Fashion Week and we do not wonder why. Paris offers the most elegant and unique pieces of fashion, they are the inventors of Haute Couture and it just gets better every time.
What we love from Paris, is that very French thing that the whole event has going on, which makes us fall in love with every single outfit. The capital de l’amour is a pioneer not only in fashion but also in style and elegance and it never fails to impress.
This Paris Fashion Week opened with a very solid and powerful Saint Laurent debut collection under the command of the young Brussels-born Anthony Vaccarello. Vaccarello put together his first collection as a Creative Director and directed the whole show and managed to blew everyone present away with his smart and exclusive choices. The whole collection offered a range of see-through details, black materials and some very 80s inspired outfits that reminded us of last weeks New York and London combinations. The looks however, were styled with some boyfriend style jeans that added a very casual and laid back touch to the outfits.
Other designers have also had their moment to shine under the shadow of La Tour Eiffel throughout these two days. Jacquemus, Courrèges and Maison Margiela within many others have already let their creations roll down the runways. Here is a short recap of what the first two days at the Paris Fashion Week looked like.
