Here I am again – the second week of the new year has gone by and I’m sitting in my bed on a cosy sunday morning writing this text for you. It’s sunny outside, but freezingly cold. I can see the snow outside from my window here. I just lightened my favorite scented candle and drink a sip of my big mug of tea. Yes, there’s a reason why my blog is called Teastories, I’m just in love with tea, especially if it’s a special one from a country or city I visited.
2017 will be a year of change for me. In a few weeks, I should graduate from university, then I’m finally able to call myself a Master of Art, yay! And after that, my journey will begin. I will travel the world again and try my luck with modeling full time. I will travel to Paris, maybe to Los Angeles and maybe to other cities as well. I’m trying to go with the flow because I can’t influence that much right now. My wish is to be happy and achieve my goal: Working as a model, continuing in being a blogger and experience the world, try to live on my own and – most importantly – learn how to be independent for the first time in my life. It’s one of the most crucial things everybody has to learn, probably also one of the hardest things though. And I know that might sound super cheesy, but it’s yet so true: Health is everything. If you’re not healthy, you’ll see that priorities change in a second. Because without being healthy, every goal is getting more difficult to achieve. So, promise me one thing: Take care of yourself as much as possible. Even if you’re struggling with personal problems, don’t let that tear you down so much that your body starts to suffer too. Pamper yourself once a week, take a bath, go to the spa, take care of your nutrition and be kind to yourself. Go for a long shopping haul – buy some boots that will make you happy and feel gorgeous – for example this ones from HUMANIC. Your body and mind will thank you later. And I got one last big wish for 2017: That the world is starting to become more loveable again. 2016 hasn’t been the best when you think about all the horrible things that happened. You think you can’t do anything about that? Yes, you can. Be genuinely nice to other people and smile back when a person smiles at you. It can truly change their day.
xx from my cosy bed,
