In Munich With My Humanic Shoes

Last weekend I was invited by the official Munich Tourism office to explore the city of Munich together with a group of bloggers and Instagrammers. It was the second time for me in this beautiful Bavarian city (the first time was last year for the famous Oktoberfest). Although I drink neither beer or eat sausages, I was happy to be back, especially now in the springtime.

Have you ever been to Munich? If not, then I definitely recommend you to add this beautiful city to your “bucket list” because in Munich there are more things to discover than you expect, from both cultural and gastronomical point of view, which had been proven to me in those two times I visited the city. And even if I get the feeling that the locals love their hometown, I also have the impression that they are open to foreigners and personally felt very welcomed.

It was a city trip full of activities. From a guided tour backstage of the theatre to beer tasting in the Jewish Museum. From a visit to the botanic garden to the baroque Nymphenburg Palace. For that reason, comfortable shoes were the only option. And I could take only one pair with me because I was travelling with only hand luggage, so I had to choose carefully which shoes I would take with me. In that case, I choose flat shoes with a colour like dark blue that matches with everything. As you can understand from my choice, I dared to go for a pair of peep toe shoes and ignored the little risk that the weather might not be so sunny and warm, although it should be because it’s end of April. Nevertheless, my dark blue peep toe Humanic shoes gave me the comfort that I was looking for and matching them with a beige trench coat was a safe yet elegant choice for that cool city look.
