A guide on
HOW TO BETTER CLEAN YOUR WHITE SNEAKERS
This season we have a crush on white sneakers. They go with jeans and suits, with leather jackets and trench coats, they are the unexpected factor in a classic outfit, a must. Just make sure they are always white, never dirty, never stained, unless you have them painted like Pharrell William’s Adidas.
Here is how to keep them perfect.
1. COLLONIL CLEANSING FOAM
Works really well on all canvas shoes, it is quick and easy a lifts out the stains in the first try so you don’t have to spend the whole day scrubbing.
2. TRY THIS AT HOME
Eg.: Water, Lemon juice, Baking soda and a Toothbrush
a) Make a mixture of half water half lemon juice and spot treat any area with a stain by scrubbing away with a toothbrush in circular motions. If the stain still is not fully removed make a paste of about 1 tablespoon baking soda and a touch of water and those tricky stains should be gone.
b) After you are done cleaning DO NOT ever put your canvas shoes in the dryer. This will dry out the leather insole and degrade the fabric of your shoe.
3. LEATHER SNEAKERS
Take a humid white cloth with a little of dish washer, and scrub the stained area. For soles, use a brush to get away all dirty.
If you want to do like the guys who collect sneakers, the so called sneakers freak, buy Jason Markk essential cleaning kit. We love the packing and the product is great.
4. LET’S DOODLE
Now that you clean your white shoes, you should try to mess them up a bit. Just grab an Edding pen and have fun!
