In Love With My Velcro Sneakers

Tadaaaa – it’s done! My thesis is being printed. Last Thursday, they called me to pick it up and you can’t imagine what huge amount of relief I felt. A lot of time and effort later, I’m holding something so personal in my hands: 100 pages full of knowledge but also thoughts and of course, pictures. Today I’ll be on my way to Graz to hand everything in. Next week, I just have one big appointment left: The final presentation of my thesis. And then I’m done! Speaking about this – I hope that winter will be done soon as well. Today it was quite sunny and warm outside and I had the feeling that spring is just around the corner. I’m still so spoiled from LA…imagine: I enjoyed the whole spring and summer in Paris and Austria, and then, in September, when it’s usually getting cold here, I just took a plane to LA where I enjoyed three more months filled with warm temperatures. So well, winter for me here has has been quite a pain this year. Still – I can’t wait for spring to come! It’s one of the best feelings in the world to finally feel the first sun rays on your skin while going for a walk. I even needed my sunnies today!

One of my current favourite looks is a very casual one: Ripped jeans in dark grey combined with my favourite sweater and comfy white sneakers by Adidas. They’re so practical and I love the green details. When spring is near, my first pick for shoes are always sneakers. I just can’t get enough of them. Can you believe that I own at least five different pair of white sneakers? Don’t judge, they’re all a little bit different. These ones here have a velcro fastener, that’s what makes them special. Get some similar ones here or here. I can’t wait to treat myself for all the work I’ve done during the past months and do a little bit of shopping at HUMANIC next week. Sometimes, spoiling yourself is the best you can do to make yourself happy again. It’s important to reward yourself for what you’ve achieved and to appreciate your work. I’ll keep you posted about my final results next week, I’m starting to get a little bit nervous – wish me luck! Have a great start into the new week with lots of sunshine in your heart and soul!
