This Saturday, I will be attending the Nuke Festival in Graz with a couple of friends. Moreover, we will be celebrating one of my closest friend’s 30th birthday there. To start the festivities properly, we’re going to have a nice brunch at Freiblick, a café and restaurant on the roof terrace of the Kastner & Öhler department store. I just love the view from up there, and also the menu is really gratifying. Their breakfast options are named after famous designers, my favourite – breakfast, not designer btw – being the “Christian Dior”: smoked salmon, avocado cream, shrimps – do I need to say more? Pure bliss!!
With our bellies full, we will head over to Stadthalle, where the one-day festival takes place. There will be only austrian and german bands performing, like Wanda, Bilderbuch, Cro or Seeed. And if we get hungry again, we won’t have to put up with the typical festival food, which is mostly unhealthy and not too tasty. There will be a slow-food market by Artisan Food Collective. Yay!
I will be wearing an outfit like this: a comfy shirt, sneakers to protect my toes from being stepped on, a turban to keep my hair out of my face while jumping around (and also to get a little hippie-boho-like feeling, never hurts when attending a festival) and a small crossbody bag, so that I have my hands free for clapping and waving around like crazy. Because that’s what you do when on a concert, right?
Due to the weather forecast, I might just switch the ripped jeans for some denim shorts to not melt away while dancing.
