It’s November but we are already crazy in love with Christmas! Yes, yes ,yes, be ready for loads of Christmas fun popping up on your computer screens! And for those of you, who aren’t in the jingle bells mood yet, don’t worry! We are sure this will change after this weekend. Why? Because all the Christmas Markets are opening this weekend! And here are our favourites in Vienna and London:

Weihnachtsmarkt im Türkenschanzpark / 14.11 – 24.11

This market is located in our beautiful home district (1180 Vienna. It’s tiny but has everything you can ask for: snacks, food, punch (they don’t safe on alcohol! J) and music. The atmosphere is less Viennese and more rural, which is very relaxing. Also it’s never overcrowded.

Weihnachtsmarkt am Spittelberg / 14.11 – 23.12

That’s definitely the cosiest Christmas market in town. One small street, a couple of punch and gift stalls and the perfect Christmas atmosphere makes this place feel like a private Christmas party.

Weihnachtsmarkt Stadtbiotop / 17.11 – 23.12

This Christmas market is very different from the classic ones that you are used to. Here you can shop stuff by awesome Austrian designers, check out cool sneakers by Adidas, eat crazy tasty burgers and enjoy some punch with it. Oh and Sabinna Studios is also selling the S/S 2015 collection there! Perfect chance to get your hands on some handmade clutches, made out of upcycled plastic. Don’t miss out on it!

Hide Park Winter Wonderland / 21.11 – 04.01

article 19_4

This is less a Christmas market and more an actual wonderland. It’s surreal how close it is to a fairy tale: the location, the lights, the great attractions that won’t only impress kids but also adults, everything looks like pure magic. You can enter the Winter Wonderland for free but will need to pay for additional activities like the Giant Wheel or the Ice Kingdom. Try to avoid the weekend as it can get pretty packed.

More London Christmas Market / 8.12 – 21.12

If you are looking for home made Christmas gifts and delicious food, then that’s the right place for you. The location is also great for tourists with a view across the Thames of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

Real Food Christmas Market / 19.12 – 23.12

Located right behind the Royal Festival Hall (Southbank Centre) it offers you a wide range of seasonal food specialities and drinks.
