fall/winter 2016 trends

Fashion is always two steps ahead (of us). And even though summer is just about to start, fall/winter 2016 trends are already cast stone. As a little foretaste (and to see which pieces to keep from last season) we like to introduce you to the major trends of the coming season, as seen on the catwalks.

CHOKERS that make a statement!

During spring & summer 16 the thin litte chokers from the nineties are revisting us but this fall they will be taking it up a notch, frequently even covering the whole neck! Seen on the runways of Balmain, Loewe, Lanvin and Dries van Noten.

Oscar de la Renta, Loewe, Alexander Wang

Luxouriously Comfy!

Hoodies are trending in fall 16, as are extra long sleeves. Hoodie sweaters were spottet at Vetements, Each x Other, Lacoste, Alexender Wang. Long sleeves were seen on almost every runway this season e.g Marc Jacobs, Fenty, Vetements, Jacquemus.

Apres Skis Avant-Garde

For the skiing holiday (- yes, it seems far away, but it comes sooner than you expect) we will draw on thick knitted jumpers, but this time they will be dressed up in a fancy way: in combination with (mini) skirts! Chloé, Pucci and Versace showed us how to embrace the trend.

On top of adding a little rockstar flair to your handbag this straps are even handy making carrying it a bit easier! Seen at Fendi, Burberry, Lanvin and Anya Hindmarch.

Valentino, Gucci & Valentino again

The cool weather approching offers a perfect opportunity to wear the new embellished and standout gloves. Beautifully adorned are the pieces at Prada, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta and Delpozoembellished.
