Travels to Africa, Latin America and the Middle East are the main sources of inspiration for the exotic ETHNO GRAPHIC Trend. The designs that have been seen on the catwalks for Spring/Summer 2016 seem as created by indigenous peoples, near-natural and beautiful.
This trend is folkloristic and fun, like a culture clash of fashion, which everyone is very welcome to join! But how is it specified? Well, because of it’s eclecticism there are no real borders or restrictions…!
Ethno Graphic(s) For The Clothes
The prints, colors, patterns and other types of ornaments of the beautiful maxi dresses such as from Chanel and Lala Berlin derive from different cultural influences. By mixing and newly arranging various styles an incomparable look is created.

Fringes And Snakeskin For The Feet
Concerning the shoes that come with this trend, they are on the more restful side – but only in terms of colors: warm earthy tones as sand, beige, light brown and soft anthracite perfectly match the vivid dresses, but also go more than just good with rich plain colors, that remind of oriental spices!
The type of the shoe? Definitely sandals – either flat or high heeled. Materials are ‘wild’: Suede, snakeskin print and wooden heels are what the Ethno Graphic shoe is made of. On top, we will find models with fringes, laces or dainty metalware details.
Is there anything NOT to love about this trend?
