Conceptual shoe design for Nike by Ora Ito

A French designer Ora Ito has revealed the new ‘Nikeams’ – a unique combination of furniture and footwear! The main inspiration was the iconic Eames Lounge 670 chair made by the legendary designers Charles and Ray Eames. Ora Ito used a GORE-TEX sock as the base and a plywood for the over parts of the body of the shoe. Pretty interesting and weird, it’s still just a concept and Nike still hasn’t expressed any sign of taking this any further.
