A trip to the seaside is a must for most of us every summer. It is definitely for our editor. From the moment she came back from her skiing trip in march she is mentally already based in her beach vacation. When we decided to provide you with a beach survival kit it was obvious that we had to ask her to give us her precious advice. On this view, she told us what her beach essentials are and also why these pieces are so vital to her. You will agree with us that she leaves nothing to chance when it comes to packing her beach bag.

This is what our editor considers her beach essentials:

1. Beach Bag by Neiman Marcus - “A big bag is crucial! When I go to the beach I always bring a lot of things – from snacks over magazines to my camera. Therefore my bag can’t be big enough.”

2. Bikini by Rough Studios - “A bikini like this one has been on my wishlist for ages. This year I can finally call it mine.”

3. Sunnies by Bulgari - “For that Grace Kelly moment big glasses are obligatory – they bring you that extra portion of glamour to the beach when you feel all sweaty and full of sand ;)”

4. Hair Protection by La Biosthetique – “Sunscreen is the main thing, but also your hair wants to be protected and taken care of in the sun! And it makes brushing the hair much easier.”

5. Reading Matter by Louis Vuitton – “I like to read and/or inform myself about my current (or next) holiday destination. I recently discovered Louis Vuitton’s Travel Guides and I’m obsessed with them.”

6. Beach Towel by LeStoff - “The days of heavy terry towels, that take ages to dry, are (luckily) over. I love light and pretty Hammam towels because they are so multifunctional: I use them to lay on it, dry myself off, wrap it around my waist when I go to the beach bar and wrap up when the ocean breeze comes in the evening.”

7. Winged Sandals by Ancient Greek Sandals - “I personally don’t like to wear Flip Flops on the beach because I always loose them when walking on sand. Moreover, there are plenty amazing sandals out there that are just waiting to be worn on the beach and way too little summerdays to give them all the chance.”
