Thanks to Trendsylvania & Notorious Mag I had the chance to visit one of the fashion hot spots – Berlin and it’s famous Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. From 19 to 23 January, the German and international fashion scene gathered once again in Berlin to the Fall/Winter 15-16 shows. This is the 8th year of Berlin fashion week, actually a young pal among the others fashion weeks, like Paris, London and New York, but full of its own personality.
I landed in Berlin and went directly to Lena Hoschek show, who is well known for her passion for traditional tailoring, 50′s and pin-up girls style. Lena Hoschek’s Fall/Winter 15 collection was expectedly romantic and truly feminine. From A-line to pencil cuts, the designer’s dresses and skirts were permeated with flower patterns and tulle. Although the collection remained more on the dark shades mainly dark blue, black and grey – flaming red and flower print found their way to sooth off its romantic side and give it a sexy touch. A great surprise for the big finish was an amazing wedding gown for the bridal collection. Champagne shades and a long veil earned ovations from the crowd. I’m pretty sure there was no woman in the audience who didn’t picture herself in that beautiful dress at least for a second.

Lena Hoschek’s team also did an amazing job with her generous goodie bags for the whole crowd, not only the first row! A book, a pair of socks, a beautiful necklace, an amazing catalog and many more. I’ll let you check my bag, but I’m keeping it all for myself Btw, loveee the chocolate packaging!
Like always, one of the funniest part of attending a big event is to choose what to wear. Berlin is underground, alternative, ultra relaxed, but I AM a fashionist, not a hipster. So I’ve chosen to be honest with myself and keep my style. Have a look, hope you like it.
